Unlock LG G2 Mini

Unlock LG G2 Mini

The LG G2 mini was designed by LG to capitalize off of the success of the G2 model. The smartphone keeps the shape of the G2; however, the mini is considerably smaller and more compact. The signature keys remain on the back and the design is nearly identical. Although the specs are a considerable downgrade from the G2; LG has managed to find an ideal price-to-value balance.

Design
The G2 mini and G2 have an identical design and shape. However, the mini appears less refined. This model is thicker, incorporates wider bezels, and feels inexpensive compared to the G2. One benefit of the G2 mini is the removable rear cover. This feature offers easy access for removing the battery and adding storage via the microSD slot. The phone feels comfortable to hold, but due to the size, the buttons on the back feel oddly placed. Moreover, the buttons are easy to locate without looking and feel tight yet sturdy. The bottom of the G2 mini includes two elliptic openings. One of the openings is a speaker and the other is a microphone. LG also equipped the Mini with an infrared beamer on top of the device. The feature may be used for controlling various home electronics.

Display
The G2 mini has a 4.7-inch display with 540×960 pixels of resolution. Although this is acceptable for most users, there is a significant difference from the 1080p display offered by the G2. In some cases, the screen colors are not as vibrant and the brightness is below average. This may cause visibility issues when using the device outside or when the sun shines directly on the panel. The mini offers a quality display when used in a dark environment and offers excellent viewing angles.

Processor and Memory
This device incorporates a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 chip. The G2 has an Adreno 305 graphics processor and the user interface reacts fairly smooth. The Mini does not have annoying lags or jerky movements, but it is not as effortless as the G2. The device has 1 GB of RAM and is capable of storing apps in the internal memory. The G2 mini is equipped with 8 GB of internal storage; however, around 4 GB are available for use. There is a microSD card slot for adding memory.

Camera
There is an 8-megapixel camera on the back of the Mini. The camera uses an LED flash that is located next to the lens. An innovative feature allows users to say words like “Picture” or “Cheese” to snap a picture from far way. Like most LG devices, there are standard options such as Time Catch, night scene, Panorama, and Dynamic Tone. There are also several color effects available. In most cases, the mini requires a second or two to focus and snap a picture. The volume buttons on the back of the device operate as shutter keys. The G2 mini creates photos that are fairly underexposed, which results in a somewhat darker image. The level of detail and clarity is also poor in quality compared to the G2.

Battery
The device offers a fairly impressive battery life. The G2 Mini offers a 2100mAh battery. This provides up to 8.5 hours of battery life if moderately used. This is slightly higher than other models in a similar price range.

Conclusion
Overall, the G2 mini has some useful features. This device does not provide the polished performance of the G2. However, the mini has functionality for a device in this price range.

Motorola Moto E Unlock Codes

The Motorola Moto E is a slightly smaller and less inexpensive than the Moto G. The focus of the Moto E was to capitalize on the success of the Moto G. In some ways the Moto E is similar to the Moto G; however, this device is more of an entry level device with an affordable price point.

Design
Visually the Motorola Moto E is a basic device with simple qualities. The body is created using durable plastic. The Moto E focuses more on being comfortable in the hand rather than being stylish and ultra-thin. The device is 12.3mm thick and incorporates smooth curves. The Moto E is considerably smaller than the Moto G. The major design difference is the small silver bars located below and above the screen. These are the outputs for the speakers. The bar above the display is for the earpiece speaker, and the bar below is the main speaker.

Display
The Moto E offers a 4.3-inch, 960 x 540 pixel display. This device has a much smaller and considerably lower resolution screen. Image quality is adequate and colors are well-saturated. In some cases, the viewing angles could use some improvement. At certain angles, the Moto E loses brightness. Overall, the resolution is somewhat limited but the image quality is sufficient.

Processor and Memory
This device runs on 4.4.2 KitKat, which is the latest version on Android. The Moto E offers 1GB of RAM and a low-end processor. There is a dual-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 200 chip. Whenever power is required, the Moto E reaches its maximum output much sooner than the Moto G.

Moto E Moto G Moto X

Camera
The Moto E has a very standard camera. This device does not offer a front-facing camera and there is not a rear flash included. For the most part, this camera is not ideal for “selfies” and video chat. The camera on the Moto E is a 5-megapixel camera with a fixed focus. This means the camera cannot lock-on to specific objects. The camera shoots video at 854 x 480 pixel resolution. The camera app is gesture-based and requires the user to flick from right to left to access the camera gallery and settings menu.

Battery
The battery is a 1,980mAh battery. Although this is slightly smaller than the Moto G, the lower-resolution display balances out the battery life. The battery panel is removable; however, the battery is in a locked position that is difficult to remove. With moderate use, the battery will last about a day.

Conclusion
The Moto E is not a powerful device and the camera is basic. However, the Moto E is an affordable device that offers a similar experience to the Moto G. The Moto E has a simple design and straightforward features.

HTC is yet to release its next-generation handset, which is expected to be called either the HTC M8 or the HTC One 2, but already expectations are running high from potential consumers and experts alike. The HTC M8 is the HTC One that is viewed as an excellent phone by many.  The speculations are rife as to what the M8’s features will be when it arrives. Here is a look at some of what is expected.

Design
Universal praise was showed on the original HTC One for its design. Its aluminum construction rivaled the Samsung Galaxy S4. It is almost a sure thing that the company will keep the current design and not return to using polycarbonate or plastic. The design should incorporate rounded edges extending further outwards than that seen on the HTC One’s rear cover. Since HTC has been known to have two colors available when launching their flagship handsets and then add more colors later, it is likely that the M8 will also come in multiple colors.

It’s also believed that there will no more capacitive buttons and in its place will be virtual buttons as seen on the Google Nexus 5, which may mean a larger display is likely.

A 4.7in display with a 1080p resolution is expected for the M8 along with its Super LCD panel technology. Some see the screen resolution as a potential problem for HTC especially since other new devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S5 are tipped to boast a screen with 2,560×1,440 resolution.

HTC M8 specifications
The Snapdragon 800 or 805 system-on-chips from Qualcomm will be used in HTC M8. This suggests that the memory will run at about 2GB. The battery is set to be larger than the 2,300mAh of its predecessor, and should be a 2,900mAh. A microSD card slot is expected and this is believed to be in response to the demand for more storage. An updated operating system in the form of the Android 4.4 KitKat is what consumers are looking for along with the HTC Sense 6.0 custom user interface.

Fingerprint sensor
It is hoped that a fingerprint sensor will be added, making it among the few Android handsets offering biometric security.

Camera
The HTC M8 is likely to ship with two rear camera sensors, giving it unique refocusing abilities. As such after a photo has been taken you will be able to change the point of focus almost immediately, and this allows for more creative shots.

HTC M8 Unlocking

The HTC M8 will be no different than any other device and IMEI unlocking is the easiest way to unlock the device.  Whether you get a free unlock code or you pay for it, IMEI unlocking is the simplest and fastest way to unlock any GSM smartphone.

If your HTC M8 is locked to a carrier the easiest way to get an unlock code is to simply call that carrier and ask for it.  You can also get a free HTC M8 unlock code by completing a TrialPay offer (Netflix, Gamefly, etc) and basically get a free unlock code for your M8 by buying something you planned on buying anyway, details below.

If you can’t get a free HTC M8 unlock code from the provider that has locked the device to their network and you’re not interested in the free TrialPay offers, you can buy the same IMEI SIM unlock code from either of the sources below:

LG G Flex coming to AT&T January 24th

We covered the LG G Flex a couple times in the last week – first for it’s annoucement and then for the bubbles in the display due to “excessive flexiing”.  Now, the latest news is a launch date for the first US carrier for the device, AT&T.  According to the reports the device will be available on January 24th and you can place your pre-order now for $300.

Checkout all the details on the AT&T announcement below:

If you get your hands on the LG G Flex we can help you unlock it for free.  First – call AT&T and ask them for a free unlock code for your LG G Flex – this is probably the easiest way to get an unlock code.  Unfortunately carriers don’t like to give out unlock codes for their latest devices and AT&T will probably make you wait a few months before delivering any unlock codes.

You could also buy a factory unlocked LG G Flex:

If getting a free LG G Flex unlock code from AT&T isn’t going to work for you and you don’t want to pay full price for a factory unlocked LG G Flex, you can unlock LG G Flex for free by following the link below and completing a TrialPay offer:

If none of the options above will work you can buy the same IMEI unlock code from the two unlocking vendors below:

The successor to the LG G2, the LG G3, is expected to drop sometime in March….or maybe sometime in May.  We’ve heard both dates.  According to one rumor (the one with a march drop date) indicates LG is trying to beat Samsung to the punch and the launch of their Samsung Galaxy S 5.  Who knows….I guess we’ll see in the next few months.

The LG G3 is rumored to have a 5.5 inch 2k display (2560 x 1440) running an octa-core processor (LG Odin) and 16 MP camera.

Ok – so now you know all there is to know (or at least all the rumored details) about the LG G3 so let’s get on to unlocking it.  You will be able to unlock the LG G3 the same as the previous LG phones, via IMEI unlock code.  If you need an unlock code for the LG G3 or for any other LG device you can use one of the following methods to get your IMEI unlock code:

1.  contact the carrier or provider the phone is locked to, tell them you’re travelling overseas and request a free IMEI unlock code for your LG G3.

2.  Buy an unlocked LG G3.  This may be one of the most expensive methods or ways to get something unlocked, but with this method there’s no need for you to do anything.  The phone will come to you factory unlocked.

3.  You can get a free LG G3 unlock code by completing a TrialPay offer:

4.  If none of the first 3 methods work, you can buy the same IMEI unlock code from either of the following vendors:

According to all the latest rumors the successor to the HTC One, currently called the HTC M8, will be released in March and will be called……wait for it…….The HTC One.  BAM!  There’s a lot of speculation recently (and it’s a renewed conversation) about the “mystery hole” on the case of the phone.  Is it a fingerprint sensor? Is it something for the new super-awesome camera the new HTC One (M8) is supposed to have?  We will all just have to wait and see….unless there’s another leak that tells us exactly what that’s for.

Like with almost any cell phone – you’ll want to unlock it – and the HTC M8 (or HTC One 2, or whatever you want to call it) will be no exception.  If you don’t buy the device factory unlocked you’re going to need to find an IMEI unlock code.  You can usually get one from the carrier the device is locked to, but with new devices they usually end up making you wait 90 days or more before unlocking the device for you.  If you don’t want to wait, and if you have the new phone in your hand we’re sure you don’t, we have lined up 2 sources for IMEI unlock codes below that assure us they will be able to unlock the HTC M8 (or whatever it ends up being called).  Both sites are also partnered with TrialPay so you should even see a free method to unlock the HTC M8:

The latest leak on the LG Optimus F3Q indicates it will be landing on T-Mobile in the next couple weeks.  The specs have also been leaked – they are n to that impressive – but we’re going to go out on a limb and guess that if you’re really excited about this phone it’s the full qwerty keyboard that you’re after and not high-end specs.  All we have to say is WHY!?  Try a touchscreen keyboard and just move on with your life.  Catch up with your friends and family even.  Anyway – if you have to have a full, physical qwerty keyboard it looks like manufacturers are still making them for a while and the latest looks like it’s the LG Optimus F3Q.

Now that we have that out of our system….if you want to read about the latest leaks and see the pics and specs you can checkout the following links:

Buy an unlocked Moto G

Probably the easiest way to unlock any phone is just to buy it unlocked.  If you’re looking for an unlocked Moto G you can buy one here for $199: Motorola Moto G – Global GSM – Unlocked – 16GB

Buying a phone unlocked usually also means paying full price or close to it for that particular device.  You can also get a free IMEI unlock code for the Moto G by calling the carrier the phone is locked to and requesting a free unlock code.  Getting your unlock code this way also means you’re probably locked to a 2 year contract.  Unlocking the Moto G does not exempt you from any contract you’ve entered into with your provider or carrier, it simply allows you to use another carrier or provider’s SIM.

Another way to get a free Moto G unlock code is to complete a TrialPay offer using the link below.

After your complete the TrialPay offer you’ll be eligible for your free unlock code.  This is a permanent unlock and is the same IMEI code you would get directly from the carrier or manufacturer of the phone.

If none of the free unlock options will work for you, be that getting a free code from the carrier or getting a free code via contract or just buying an unlocked phone from the beginning, you can still unlock your Moto G but you’ll need to purchase the unlock code.  We’ve listed a couple of the top performing unlocking services below:
